The Talent Admission Method (Method 1) of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) is opening up vast opportunities for 2K8 candidates with outstanding academic records and competencies. This is one of the crucial admission methods, helping candidates access a high-quality training environment without solely relying on the results of the High School Graduation Exam.

The talent admission method at PTIT includes two main forms: direct admission, priority admission, and admission based on competency profiles. For direct admission and priority admission, the applicable subjects are candidates who achieve high results in national or international exams and competitions according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as the Institute’s own regulations.

In addition, admission based on competency profiles is for candidates with outstanding academic achievements who meet specific criteria. For the group of candidates winning national or international awards, admission opportunities are expanded for those who participate in the exam to select the national team for the International Olympiad, participate in the national excellent student exam, or win a Consolation prize in the national high school excellent student exam. For the group of candidates winning provincial/city-level awards or in exams organized by major universities, the requirement is to win First, Second, Third, or Consolation prizes within a period of no more than three years calculated to the time of admission.

Furthermore, this method also applies to students from specialized schools and specialized systems nationwide. Depending on their specialized subjects, candidates can register for admission into suitable industry groups. Specifically, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Information Technology allow registration in all majors, including Marketing training programs. For English, candidates can register for the Business and Management or Journalism and Communication groups, while Literature is suitable for Journalism and Multimedia Communications.

For candidates interested in the PTIT Marketing major, the Institute currently implements three training programs oriented towards the application of modern technology. In addition to the talent admission method, candidates can still use the results of the High School Graduation Exam with combinations A00, A01, D01, X06, and X26 to register for admission, thereby joining the dynamic and creative Marketing student community.

Candidates should note that excellent student awards at the provincial, city, or equivalent levels are only valid for three years up to the time of admission. At the same time, the admission application needs full evidence such as notarized copies of award certificates, confirmation of specialized student status, and high school transcripts to ensure a smooth review process.

The talent admission method is not only an opportunity to help candidates shorten the distance to the university gates but also a stepping stone to develop in a training environment closely linked with technology, data, and reality at PTIT.
